About Me

I am a PhD candidate at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Freie Universität Berlin in the research group of Prof. Agnès Voisard. I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mathematics from the Technische Universität Berlin. My master's thesis was titled "Complexity of combinatorial optimization problems with rainbow constraints".

My research interests include planning systems with a focus on navigation systems, graph algorithms, geospatial data management and combinatorial optimization.

Data Sources of Information

If you are considering writing a thesis or conducting a (project-) seminar within our group, the following data portals may be useful for your research. Many theses rely on publicly available datasets. The portals below provide access to different types of data, including statistical, geospatial, mobility, and weather data.

This list is not intended to be complete. It serves as a starting point for identifying relevant data sources for your project.

General Data Portals and Dataset Search

These two portals are useful if you are looking for datasets across multiple domains and countries, as they help you identify relevant datasets from numerous open data platforms worldwide.

Berlin Data

In Germany, open data portals are available for each federal state. The following platforms provide datasets specifically for Berlin.

German Data

For research focusing on German datasets, the following platforms provide useful resources.

European Data

This portal provides datasets published by the European Union and its member states. It offers access to many national and international databases.

Weather and Climate Data

Next, we provide links to data portals containing meteorological and climate-related datasets.

Germany Climate Data

Mobility-Related Data

These platforms provide datasets related to transportation and mobility, including real-time traffic data, roadwork information, and public transportation data in Germany.
