PrefaceThe scientific graphic calculators HP49G and HP49g+ dispose over very much RAM and are customizable to a much larger extend than their predecessors. This is not obvious at the first glance but my tools may help to realize this quickly. A HP49G/49g+ without the right user interface is comparable to PC running an operating system without comfort (the one from the times of DOS, say). Most of my contributions serve primarily interface enhancement for the normal user. Only few are so-called hacker tools like LofRP from Libman. Memory is practically unlimited with a suitable SD-card on the HP49g+. Also speed in complex numerical or symbolic computations including graphics is no problem anymore for the HP49g+. For many tasks in science and engineering, this calculator is more useful than a PC. Here you'll find my best tools for the HP49G and the HP49g+ in their latest updatings. They may be more up to date than those on hpcalc.org or other international sites, even with the same version number. Hence, downloading from this site or from my ftp-link should be prefered. A few tools do not yet work on the HP49g+. These have a [-] in the Download column. The *.htm file belongs to *.zip and is the actual documentation. Hence, it suffices to download *.zip. Unzip in a separate folder. A *.txt in *.zip may be obsolete. To activate a library, load it temporarily in HOME, put it on the stack, choose a port number, press STO, and attach it with a warmstart. When updating a library, put the new version first in Port0. Only if it runs well purge the old one and move the new one to a higher port. Port0 should store libraries or backups only temporarily. Some libraries or certain library commands run properly only in ROM 19-6 or higher. This may not explicitly be mentioned in the documentation. At any rate, we recommend to upgrade your calculator to the latest ROM. The HP49g+ should have at least ROM 1.23. Most assembly code in my programs is compressed System RPL which can be decoded with the BZ-toggler from OT49(+). Zip-files may be large because of the documents, but the tool for download on the calculator is mostly smaller than 5 kB Hence, downloading with the Connectivity Kit will last a few seconds only. An exception is the large equation library EQL+. Browsing the *.htm files should work with any browser. An outprint of such a file needs the right parameter. Control with Preview before printing. Some *.zip may contain a file LDOCnnn where nnn denotes the library number. This is a tool documentation to be put on the SD-card. It can be read on the calculator with the command LDOC from library SDIAG (version 2.10) if stored in the subdirectory L of the directory SDIAG on the card. VorwortDie wissenschaftlichen Graphikrechner HP49G und HP49g+ haben sehr viel RAM und sind weit besser customisierbar als deren Vorgänger. Dies ist nicht sofort sichtbar, aber meine Tools können helfen dies schnell zu erkennen. Daher sollte bevorzugt von hier oder von meinem ftp-link heruntergeladen werden. Nur wenige Tools arbeiten noch nicht auf dem HP49g+. Um eine Bibliothek zu aktivieren, lade sie provisorisch in HOME, stelle sie auf den Stack, wähle eine Port Nummer, presse STO und binde sie mit einem Warmstart an. Zum Updaten einer Bibliothek lade man die neue Version zuerst in Port0. Erst wenn alles läuft ersetze man die alte durch die neue in einem höheren Port. Port0 sollte Bibliotheken oder Backups nur temporär speichern. Einige Bibliotheken oder Befehle darin arbeiten nur richtig in ROM 19-6 oder höher. Das mag nicht immer erwähnt worden sein. In jedem Fall empfehlen wir ein Upgrade des Rechners zum letzten ROM. Der HP49g+ sollte mindestens ROM 1.23 haben. Assembler code in meinen Programmen ist meist komprimiertes System RPL das mit dem BZ-toggler aus OT49(+) dekodiert werden kann. Zip-Dateien sind der Dokumente wegen groß. Das auf den HP zu ladende Tool aber meist kleiner als 5 kB. Laden dauert daher nur wenige Sekunden. Eine Ausnahme ist die große Gleichungs-Bibliothek EQL+. Die Dateien *.htm sollten mit jedem Browser normal funktionieren. Ausdruck solcher Dateien erfordert richtige Parameter. Kontrollieren Sie mit Vorschau (Preview) bevor Sie ausdrucken. Einige *.zip enthalten einen File LDOCnnn mit der Bibliotheks-Nummer nnn. Das ist eine Tool-Dokumentation zum Laden auf die SD-Karte.
