SUMMARY | |||||||||||
This video show results from simulated evolutions of virtual creatures. Populations of creatures are grown form artificial genetic codes describing their morphology and behavior. The creatures are tested in a world of simulated physics for their ability to swim, walk, jump, follow, or compete. The genes of the best performers are copied, combined, and mutated to make another generation, and as the cycle continues, interesting and successful strategies can emerge. | |||||||||||
