Academic
I am a graduate student of mathematics and computer science at Freie Universität Berlin, where I started my studies in computer science in fall 2005. As part of the required courses for prospective computer scientists, I attended a course in discrete mathematics that enthused me about academic mathematics. So I decided to study mathematics for my second university degree.I am very interested in (complex and differential) geometry and function theory, as well as probability theory and stochastic analysis. On the right you see a color plot of the meromorphic function f(z)=(z+1)^2/(z-1)*(z-i)^2/(z+1). It was generated by using a technique called Domain Coloring.
