Willkommen/Welcome:
Since 2007, I am the scientific manager of the DFG priority programme (SPP) 1276 MetStröm at the Freie Universität Berlin, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science.
Besides the SPP management, my favourite research topic is experimental and computational fluid dynamics.
I play the drums in various music groups, mainly BB & The String Tornados and The PINK FLOYD Project. I also do soaring, both overland gliding and acrobatic flights, as well as engine powered flights and have a flight instructor license.
