Ina Schieferdecker and I are the general co-chairs of ISSRE 2019 in Berlin.
Together with Will Knottenbelt I am organising the First Symposium on Cryptocurrency Analysis (SOCCA) at IFIP PERFORMANCE, Dec. 6, 2018 in Toulouse.
I am member of the QEST steering committee (2017-2022).
I am listed as one of the top 7 reviewers over the past two years for the Journal of Systems and Software.
Together with Will Knottenbelt, I was general co-chair of the ACM International Conference on Performance Engineering (ICPE), 2018 in Berlin.
Our paper Swimming with Fishes and Sharks: Beneath the Surface of Queue-based Ethereum Mining Pools has been published at IEEE MASCOTS 2017 in Banff, Canada.

I had the great honour to give the vote of thanks at Will Knottenbelt's splendid inaugural lecture at Imperial College on June 27th 2017.

I was the general chair of the Conference on Quantitative Evaluation of SysTems (QEST) 2017 in Berlin.

I was member of the jury of the third (final) round of the German national computer science competition (Bundeswettbewerb Informatik 2017)

Qiushi Wang and I received the best paper award at ICPE 2015 for "Reducing Task Completion Time in Mobile Offloading Systems through Online Adaptive Local Restart"

Prof. Will Knottenbelt and I were co-chairs of Valuetools 2015 in Berlin

I was guest-editor of a special issue of Performance Evaluation, together with Andras Horvath, publishing selected papers of EPEW 2014 in Florence.

Together with Andras Horvath and a lot of help from Enrico Vicario and his team I have organised EPEW 2014 in Florence which took place as part of a most enjoyable conference week.
