Third Pseudo-Triangulation Week

Location
The workshop takes place at the Free University Berlin which is located in the south of Berlin. Since most of the people will show up on Thursday, I reserved a seminar room from 18 to 23 May. Unfortunately we have to change the room in between the days. For those who will come on the 17th, please come to Takustr. 9 (Campusplan), room 117 or 110. The rooms for the other days are:

Some people will stay beyond the 23th. If necessary we will organise a room for them during the workshop. You can find the way to the institute here. Our work group (Theoretical Computer Science) is located at Takustr. 9 (upper floor).

I recommand to walk from the hotel to the university. Cross the street "Unter den Eichen" and the walk along the "Altensteiner Strasse" until "Fabeckstrasse". Then follow the "Fabeckstrasse" on the left until "Arnimallee". From here you'll need approx. 200 meters to reach our department. You can save a bit, if you catch the bus 101 at "Unter den Eichen" (but not much). I've made a pdf of the route.

Programm
There will be no official programm for the week days. Some of you might attend the Euler Lectures in Potsdam on Friday.

Accommodation
I reserved rooms for your at the hotel "Mulino" ( map). It takes a 15 minutes walk to our department, but you can also go by bus in 5 minutes). Nearest S-Train station is S Lichterfelde West. The rooms are rather small but clean and it should be a quite area. The price is 40-48 Euro (depending on how long you will stay) for a single and 65 for a double. Breakfast is included the rooms are with shower & TV.

Travel Information

• For cheap flights check HLX (Klagenfurt), Air Berlin (Amsterdam, Vienna & Spain), Austrian Airlines (Vienna) and EasyJet (Spain).
• If you take the train check the homepage of the Deutsche Bahn. Because of the World Cup the "Bahn" offers a discount card which might pay off already for a single trip. The page is only in german, if you need help, email me.
• Berlin public transportation (BVG) ( Map)
• From Airport Schönefeld to the hotel you should go by S45 to Schöneberg and then take the S 1 to "Lichterfelde West". From the Airport Tegel take the bus TXL and switch at "Unter den Linden" to the S1. If you arrive at "Zoo" take the U9 until "Rathaus Steglitz" and then the S1.
